The complainers are the usual lefties with their false ideas about the nature of human beings who keep trying to force people to believe their bankrupt idea that all humans are the same, even though true science and statistics prove them wrong.

If the present two-state solution idea fails, Israelis fear that a one state solution will be forced on them and that this will ruin the "Jewish character" of Israel.

What?  Diversity is not Israel's strength?  Israel wants to exclude the "other"?  Israel doesn't want Arabs to have voting rights in Israel?  Doesn't want Arabs at all in any numbers?

Say, what if all the Palestinians converted to Judaism.  Would they then be welcome?

Those on this commission get a chance to show their stuff and they're under a microscope.

Never doubt that their comments and votes are closely watched by some who want to see Costa Mesa improved.

WE WONDER...DOESN'T THE NMUSD CONTRACT WITH HUBBARD HAVE A NO CONFIDENCE CLAUSE?

As we wrote yesterday, Superintendent Hubbard has been put on paid administrative leave. This means he'll be paid his roughly $ 25,000 per month salary while he waits for his trial. 

Those defending Hubbard trot out the old 'he's innocent until proven guilty' shibboleth.  Yes, that's true, but this isn't about his guilt or innocence now.  It's about saving taxpayer money and doing the right thing for the taxpayers and the students in the district.

The racy emails and the relationship with a subordinate in Beverly Hills should be enough for the NMUSD board to say they no longer have any confidence in Mr. Hubbard and terminate his contract.

That $25,000 a month should be used for the students in NMUSD.  Remember them?

And, maybe it's time for some real changes on the school board to stop its in-group, private club way of doing things.

OBAMA GIVES TEPID STATE OF THE UNION SPEECH

Mostly a boring speech delivered poorly. Obama appeared to be chewing gum as he entered the room; maybe it was to wake him up.  It didn't work.

To get things back on track in the U.S. we need some major changes in the way we do things and in our priorities.

We need to get out of the phony wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and we need to send both countries a bill for our service to their present leaders.

We need to re-industrialize the U.S.

We need to shrink government.

We need to stop foreign aid. Citizen tax money should be spent on our own citizens instead of lining the pockets of foreign leaders.

We need to stop all immigration for ten years.

We need to stop the anchor baby scam.

We need to send illegal aliens back to their own country.

We need to rekindle American virtues of self-reliance and a can-do attitude.

AND WHAT ABOUT THE REPUBLICANS?

Most Republicans are coming across as a bloodless group of mumblers and back room numbers crunchers who look like their shoes are too tight and their suits itchy and who have no new ideas. 

We see very little leadership in the GOP right now.  New blood is needed, or at least a transfusion.
