This is another one of those articles that makes it seem as though scientists will be able to identify and catalog all species of plants and animals and then close the books.
In fact, this won't be possible because nature never stops tinkering with life and evolution never stops. New species are always on the verge of coming into existence through the fundamental forces of evolution--some do come into existence and some on the verge blend back in with the parent population and stop their evolution into a separate line.

HERE'S A STUPID COLUMN FROM THE DAILY PILOT WRITTEN BY ELEANOR EGAN
Look at the comments following Egan's stupid column. All the negative ones (as of this writing) about the good Councilmembers are from women who are...well, never mind. As, we've written before, many women are more into feelings and want politicians who will be like their hairdressers or therapists and just listen--but not do anything. They just want to emote.
That's why Wendy Leece, the human emoticon, is popular with them. Also, as we've written before, Leece empathizes with everyone who speaks at Council meetings, and her rubber face mirrors the emotions of anyone who is talking. Of course, Leece never actually does anything. She has wasted eight years on the Council. And, now, she wants to run for Congress? What a huge laugh.
Of course, not all negative comments about the good Councilmembers always come just from women. There are some touchy-feely lefty men mixed in with the gang of women who also just want politicians and the government to be their mommies. Perhaps they were bottle fed. Don't be one of these "men." Oh, and don't be one of these "women," either. Use your brain to reason, not just to emote and whine.
