CRACKPOTS WHINING ABOUT FIRST AMENDMENT OVER IN THE PILOT

Click on the above link and browse around at the Daily Pilot and you'll find a couple of columns about the changes to the public comments section of City Council meetings.

Be sure to read the comments from the usual crackpots who may have had a civics lesson many years ago and think they know all about the First Amendment.  These crackpots are upset because they all aren't going to get their TV face time at the start of the meetings where they usually skulk up to the podium and say the same stupid things as the rest of this low I.Q. herd.

How many more people saying really stupid things with a flat affect do we need to hear?

How many more speakers who say things such as: "I, ah, ah, ah think, ah, that, ah ah, Ah, ah, we, ah, should ah..." can we stand in one evening?

Folks, the mayor and the City Council have the right to set the proper time, place and manner for the exercise of First Amendment rights at City Council meetings.  This isn't even a legal wobbler.

And, having some of the exhibitionist clowns who just like to flap their lips speak at the end of the meetings will help keep things moving along for people who are actually trying to accomplish things in Costa Mesa and not just whining like little children.
