Mayor Jim Righeimer
announced today that he will form a Preserve Our Neighborhoods Task
Force that will examine ways to lessen the negative impact on
neighborhoods caused by residents of some group homes.
In recent months, city officials have received increased complaints about the behavior of group home tenants altering the character of Costa Mesa neighborhoods. Those behaviors include excessive smoking, noise, increased traffic and parking, intimidation, trash (including discarded illegal drug paraphernalia) and using homes for commercial vans pick-up and drop-off stops.
There are more than 124 group homes with at least 1,000 beds in Costa Mesa, according to city statistics.
Federal and state law protects from discrimination those residing in group homes for individuals with disabilities, including rehabilitation from drug and alcohol addiction. These laws, however, do not immunize nuisance conduct, irrespective of whether a group home’s residents are disabled. In Costa Mesa, city officials have been working with local residents to stop specific nuisance behaviors in neighborhoods as described above through an updated nuisance ordinance.
“We’re asking concerned residents to help us form this task force to study the issue and come up with lawful and nondiscriminatory solutions to preserve our neighborhoods as family-friendly communities,” Mayor Righeimer said.
Righeimer said he will provide more details about the task force at the Dec. 3 City Council meeting. Those interested in applying for the Preserve Our Neighborhood Task Force, please call Sharon Rodelius, City Council executive secretary, at (714) 754-5107.

MEDIA DISTORTION: THE TERM 'KNOCKOUT GAME' IS A MEDIA EUPHEMISM TO DOWNPLAY RACIALLY MOTIVATED HATE ATTACKS BY BLACKS ON WHITESI have some personal experience with the media sometimes turning a term into a common expression. Call it reality following art.

When I was a Marine stationed in Cuba, I had just left a theater where the pre-movie cartoon showed insects as flying teeth.
Just then, a reporter for Life or Time ( I don't remember which) came up to me and wanted my impressions of Cuba. I told him the bugs at night were like flying teeth and that they were a constant problem while we were up in the hills at night with our tanks. Sure enough, a story came out in the magazine that "The Marines in GITMO call the insects "flying teeth." The Marines in this case was just me. But, after the story went wide, others started using the term.

MEDIA'S ABSURD CLAIMS ABOUT BLACK MOB VIOLENCE AGAINST WHITES
WND column.
Without the alternate media (the Internet, blogs, etc.) the MSM would keep getting away with lying about Black violence against Whites, and there would be more easy and naive White victims unaware that they're being targeted because of the color of their skin.
The world around you is not as the MSM want you to believe it is. WAKE UP!

N'est -ce pas?
I THINK that I shall never see
A poem or a sports field or a parking lot lovely as a tree or wind sown plants all atangle as natural selection has determined.
A tree or wind sown plants whose hungry mouths
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;A tree and wind sown plants that look at God all day,
A tree and wind sown plants that may in summer and all year round wear
A nest of robins and plants and animals of all types as nature determines in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems and sports fields and parking lots are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree and all the wild and untouched places full of
plants and animals that nature has determined are best suited for such places
and which live happily and prosper with out a single human having to tendto them and feed them or to be paid to do so by the citizens of Costa Mesa..
