We put this up last night also. What happens with the Tea Parties could be important for the November elections, so we'll try to keep track of things.

Background in a Nutshell: This past week, the NAACP passed a resolution saying elements of the Tea Party were racist and should be booted out. Mark Williams, a prominent Tea Partier, radio talk show host, and member of the Tea Party Express, then posted a fictitious letter about Colored people. Next, a Black guy named David Webb, who apparently thinks he's the leader of the Tea Parties (he's not), and who is involved with the National Tea Party Federation, kicked Williams and his organization out of the Federation.

Now, we understand that some Tea Party members and groups may be calling for the ouster of the pretender David Webb.

As far as we know, prominent politicians who have spoken at various Tea Party events have stayed clear of the turmoil.

The next few days or weeks may be important for the future of the Tea Parties. Will they join Williams or will they stay with Webb or...?
