The Tibetans split off from the Han Chinese about 3,000 years ago. After the split, the
Tibetans developed their ability to live on reduced oxygen levels.This is just more evidence (as we've written in some of our columns) that evolution can work very fast if the conditions are right and if there is very little or no gene flow.
However, as we've also written before, the Han Chinese are now trying to wipe out the Tibetans via bedroom genocide by flooding Tibet with Han Chinese genes.
