Phony as hell Marco Rubio repeated the same stupid line several times. When Christie pointed it out, Rubio even repeated it again right then. So, why did he do such a stupid thing? My guess is that he was over rehearsed and became line bound (as we actors sometimes say).
You can sometimes see examples of this in stage plays. I recall a story of a play in which one of the actors was to smoke a real cigarette on stage, and by accident dropped it on to a rug that was part of the set and the carpet caught on fire, but since the actor was line bound, and since picking up the cigarette wasn't part of the script, he did nothing.
Now, one can almost hear Rubio's masters: "Hey, Marco, you putz, be a good little goy and run down to the corner and get us some bagels."
