IN OUR VIEW, THE BEST THREE TO DRIVE DOWN CRIME AND IMPROVE COSTA MESA ARE BEVER,
MONAHAN AND RIGHEIMERSay, did we mention that we think Eric Bever, Gary Monahan and Jim Righeimer would be the best choices to drive down crime and improve Costa Mesa, and that you might consider casting your vote this year as though these three were all lined up one under the other on the ballot?
Think of them as a joined at the hip slate. A conservative slate. A fiscally responsible, no new taxes slate. A get the gangs the hell out of Costa Mesa slate. A make Costa Mesa nicer and safer for citizens slate.
Of course, their names aren't actually lined up, so you may have to spend a few extra minutes to put these three together before you cast your vote.
Don't be fooled by Flopsy Katrina Foley's rhetoric. She's an ultra-liberal Democrat who will be receiving backing from other ultra liberal Democrats.
Foley is the ONLY Councilmember who refused to sign a letter to President Bush asking him to secure our borders.
She's way too squishy liberal for Costa Mesa. Her idea of crime control and improvement is to plant flowers in front of the slums, and tell suspected illegal alien day workers that she's on their side.
Give Flopsy Foley more time to go skiing. Unelect her so she won't have to play hooky from so many Councilmeetings as she has in the past.
This is not a year to pick and choose folks. Pick the right 3. Your safety and quality of life depend on it.
We have too much crime and too many gangs. We need Bever, Monahan and Righeimer on the dais to help turn things around.
