THE UPWARD SPIRAL OF THE WESTSIDE THANKS TO THE RIGHEIMER COUNCIL

(And, no thanks to Improvement obstructionist Wendy Leece and the haters [spit])

Yesterday, in CM PRESS # 579 we wrote about the demographics being changed on the Westside by first improving the infrastructure and attracting small lot builders to risk their money.  HERE'S where you can read that column.

Today's column shows some of the nitty gritty of how this works. We're going to plug in some real numbers here, but they're easy to follow so don't run away even if you hate looking at numbers. If you don't like looking at numbers, yesterday's column says the same thing as this one, but without the numbers and in a more general way.

But, first, and before reading on, remember that this type of upward spiral is happening because of the work that Mayor Righeimer, Mayor Pro Tem Mensinger and Councilmember Monahan have been doing in implementing the Westside Plans.

The Westside Plans were just a dream. It is the Righeimer Council that is making them a reality and turning a crime ridden slum into a nice area of Costa Mesa. 

First there is the thought, then there is the talk, but what finally matters is the ACTION, and without the Righeimer Council the Westside Plans would have just remained a dream.

Consider just one area of the Westside. It is Census Tract # 06059063605. 

This Census Tract is the area that has 19th Street to the North, Placentia to the West,  Anaheim and Superior on the East and Industrial Way to the South.

Approved right now, or about to be approved, for this Census Tract,  by the Righeimer Council are 3 new residential projects with a total of about 290 new detached homes. There will be approximately 1.9 residents per household (homeowners have smaller households).

What this means

Not one of these 290 new households will have less than $ 100,000+ household income.  How do we know this?  Because it will take that much household income to qualify for a loan to buy any of these 290 new homes.  Some of the incomes there will be much higher.

At the present time, that Census Tract has 1393 Households, but only 150 of these households have an income of or above $100,000. That's only 10.86%.

With the new 290 new Households, the number of Households with $100,000+ of income in that Census Tract will increase by an astounding 193%, but the number of households will only increase by a small 20.9%!

It's like cold fusion, folks, put in a little energy in the front of the machine and you get much more energy out of the machine than you put in!

Don't let your eyes glaze over, but below is a little of the math that shows the improvement and how the Righeimer Council is helping make the Westside the Bestside:

Here's how it all looks when you put all the numbers together and extend them out: 

At present there are only 150 households in that Census Tract with $ 100,000+ income.

Add the 290 new homes to that Census Tract each with $100,000+  income and you'll then have a total of 440 homes with $100,000+ income (290 + 150) and you'll have a total 1683 households in that Census Tract (290 +1393 homes).

Now do a little more math and you'll see that the percentage of homes that will have more than  $100,000 household income after the 290 homes are built out and sold will have increased to 26%: (440/1683=26%).

Bottom line: 

In an area that now only has 10.86% of the homes with household incomes of $100,000+ there will soon be 26% of the homes with household incomes of $ 100,000+ but this  income pump has been accomplished by only adding a mere 290 new homes to the area!!!

And, almost 100% of this is being done with private sector money.

If you're a site selector for a national or regional credit tenant with multiple locations, you're now going to start taking a look at this area because with the 290 new homes there will be a major increase in spendable income in the area.

And, by the way, the sales figures at the Trader Joe's that is already in that Census Tract should go through the roof.

Meanwhile the low I.Q. haters continue with their stupid nipping at the heels of the doers and they sound like this.

STUDY FINDS ACHIEVEMENT GAP BETWEEN ASIAN AMERICAN AND WHITE STUDENTS DUE TO CULTURAL FACTORS NOT COGNITION OR IQ

Actually, simply giving "cultural factors" as the reason for the gap is not a totally satisfactory answer as one's culture ultimately is a result of one's genes.

My naturalistic observations of Asians leads me to the notion that what is really going on is that many Asian students are more passive and more receptive to simply accepting what is taught and then simply parroting back what they have internalized, and this, of course, leads to higher grades.  And, while one may say that the things  I've just outlined are, indeed, cultural factors, I would agree but would remind you that they are still ultimately gene related. The genes are the source of the cultural factors (yes, of course, the total organism does adapt to the environment and accidents of history, place and being but this is still done at the direction of the genes).

Many Asian students also tend to be what I call apple polishers and this pleases the teachers. Again, this is gene related.

Many White students, on the other hand, are more active and more  likely to argue with teachers and be skeptical of what is taught.

Many Asian students also do seem less interested in active--non-academic--things that many White students are interested in--and which occupies the time and minds of the White students. The Times article refers to these things as social activities.

In thinking about this, I'm reminded of what my fellow Mensan, Stephen Hawking, once said when asked about how he was able to achieve so much in physics even with ALS.  His reply (paraphrasing now) was that he was fortunate in that he had ALS because had he not had the disease he would have been spending his time chasing girls instead of thinking about physics.

AND, HERE'S THE FIFTH REVIEW OF A TROUBLESOME INHERITANCE

This is a pretty good review from Real Clear Science.

The message in all of these reviews is simply what I've been writing about for years:  Race is real.  It is not a social construct.  Race is to human as breed is to dog as variety is to rose.

And, human evolution has not happened all at once, but has followed the fundamental principles of evolution-including the reality that small, isolated groups of humans evolved differently than other groups and if they were successful, they grew into large populations as the beneficial  mutations in their small groups spread throughout the whole groups.  This is what happened to the humans who came to and evolved in Europe.  They became a new race--really a new subspecies--but even those who now are waking up and realizing that race is real are mostly still too timid to understand that in the case of humans, we not only have different races but we have different subspecies (some would say different species).  In time, even the dimwitted will come to this conclusion.

Not only has evolution of humans not stopped, there is evidence that it is actually speeding up among Whites (I've written about this before), and another thing that may be new to some readers is the notion that there can be rapid evolution (I've also written about this).

WSJ REVIEW OF 'TROUBLESOME INHERITANCE' BY NICHOLAS WADE

We gave you two other reviews of this book in CM PRESS # 574, and you can find them HERE.  The review by Jared Taylor is the must read one of those two.

What does this book say?  Race is real. Genes matter.   I've been writing about this for years, and it's so obvious that race is real that it is surprising in this day and age that we still have flat worlders who try to deny it, often out of a misguided belief that the way to human harmony is to deny or ignore human differences.

This denial and ignoring of racial difference is so clearly seen in White lefties that I've written columns spoofing them as looking away from race as though they're looking away from someone's face because of a huge mole or birth mark.

The reason this particular book is important is that it comes from a well known writer who works for that liberal bastion the New York Times, and is difficult for the PC lefties to ignore.

Here on the West Coast, many folks don't look to the NYT as anything special, but back east, and when I worked for the NYT in their HQ on Times Square in Manhattan, the Times was very proud and constantly claimed to be the "newspaper of record of the United States."

As we get deeper into the election season, don't forget the sign used in the last election to try to stop an independent thinker who couldn't be bought off with an endorsement.


If we hear the buzz correctly, many of the bad cops have now left the CMPD while many good ones have remained and are now being joined by new professional cops who understand that they are to protect and serve the citizens of Costa Mesa and not just protect and serve their own interests.

Hopefully, there is a new attitude spreading in the CMPD that holds that professional ethics come before politics and that it is unseemly when many out of town employees--including cops--who choose to not live in Costa Mesa and can't vote here, try to elect puppets to the city council.  Costa Mesa employees who don't live in Costa Mesa should go play politics in the cities where they live.

The dynamic trio have attracted small lot developers to the city where they are risking their money in building homes on the Westside  (a long term ethnic ghetto and no-go area).

These new homes will attract upwardly mobile people with disposable incomes, and the upwardly mobile people with disposable incomes will attract credit retail tenants, the credit retail tenants will attract more upwardly mobile people with disposable incomes, who will attract more credit retail  tenants who will  attract more....

The Westside is on an upward spiral despite the efforts of improvement obstructionists such as Wendy Leece (spit!) and the small herd of fat assed and tiny brained haters.

The Westside is the key to improving all of Costa Mesa.  It is the linchpin.  Improve the Westside and the whole city will improve.

SAY NO TO A SPANISH LANGUAGE CHARTER SCHOOL ON THE WESTSIDE OR ANYPLACE ELSE IN COSTA MESA

Immediately below is a short column that we ran yesterday.  We're running it again because we think this is important to Costa Mesans on many levels.

 If this Spanish language charter school idea is accepted, we believe it will hurt improvement of the Westside, help reverse improvement gains, and help keep the Westside as a crime filled ethnic ghetto that is a no-go area for upwardly mobile individuals, home buyers, businesses, and customers of those businesses.

Additional Information...

Here's what Blanton told the Pilot about the present pre-school program that MIKA runs: 

"They come and play, but it's also a way for us to show the parents how to interact with their children in a way that might not be culturally normal for them." 

Huh?  

What  does that mean?  Does it mean the Latino parents don't know how to raise their 0wn kids?  Does it mean the White folks at MIKA know better? Does it mean the Latino parents are somehow not fully functioning adults?  Does it mean that White culture is better and should be adopted by the Latino parents and their children?  Does it  mean the Latino parents and their children should adopt White religious ideas and views?  Exactly what does Blanton mean when she says MIKA shows the Latino parents how to interact with their own children in a way "that might not be culturally normal for them"? 
What is "culturally normal" for the Latino parents that needs correcting by the White folks at MIKA ,who, of course, simply know what's best for the Latino parents and their children?

Each distinct people should be able to self-identify and have self-determination as they alone see fit and without the interference of outsiders.

MUTATIONS AND NATURAL SELECTION

Mutations effect your inherited traits and can be beneficial, harmful or neutral.

Natural selection is a natural unguided process where traits that increase an organism's chances of survival--and the reproduction of offspring who survive and who also reproduce these beneficial traits-- increase in a population while harmful traits will decrease.

Natural selection acts on the best mutations for a niche by selecting them for survival while removing the harmful mutations.  Neutral mutations will build up in a population without being selected by natural selection.

White skin was a beneficial mutation in Europe that allowed those who received this mutation the ability to produce more Vitamin D in the rainier, cloudier and less sunny environment than that found in Africa.  This gave them a survival advantage and longer lives with which to produce more children with their mutation.  

Too little Vitamin D increases the risk of rickets--a bone softening disorder that leads to early death. With early death there is less chance to produce more of your kind of children.  Thus, those with darker skins who found their way to Europe  and who did not mutate, died off and were replaced by those with white skin.

Many other mutations followed in Europe, including, but not limited to, skeletal, bone and brain changes.

 And, that dear readers, is how we came to be White people.

GENTRIFICATION IS GOOD!

Where will all the pathological altruists, Great White Mothers, Great White Fathers, charity profiteers, anti-Whites, and those who like to go slumming for an afternoon before returning to their non-slum homes go, now that Costa Mesa is on an upward spiral (especially the Westside)?  Maybe they'll start bypassing Costa Mesa and head over to Santa Ana. Good riddance!

The Westside
More than a decade ago, the CM PRESS realized that there were forces trying to keep the Westside as a no-go ethnic ghetto and slum area forever.  The reasons varied, but were largely spurred on by lefties of all stripes.  Let's just call them what they are: Haters.

Some of these slum now, slum forever haters were pathological altruists (neurotic do-gooders), some were Great White Mothers and Great White Fathers (remember what they did to the American Indians), some were charity profiteers (some make great livings off pretending to be heaven gazing neo-Mother Teresas), some were haters of White people (and many of them were self-loathing Whites, or mimics), and some were the usual empty headed latter day hippy types who regretted that they were born too late for the Haight-Ashbury (I used to live in the Haight and I know the type).

Well, haters, the Westside is improving. Don't like it?  Tough!
