no surprise about the cop, it happens in many departments. also in the current news is the "snowbird bandit" being captured, although he is not presently a cop he was one with lapd. these constant complainers here in costa mesa just don't get it that the cops are just humans, there will be good and bad. it is difficult to be a bad cop for long unless the whole department is complicit. under Snowden, a very political chief of police we had, I think that nasty politics were something allowed to go on until we ended up with the gps device planted on Mensinger, fake dui attempt on Righeimer, and an attempt to lure Monahan into adultery. the pd union knew what was up, look at the incriminating emails they wrote. we ended up losing a lot of cops. thankfully. they were most likely very bad actors we needed to cleanse the department. some said they left because of the political atmosphere. well, they don't work for the Mayor and mayors come on go. either they were stupid to take on longer commutes and some claimed pay cuts to get out of here. I think they left because they had dirty hands. after snowden we had a couple do nothing, ripoff chiefs, then the very democratic interim chief who undermined anything he could. now we have a great chief, one who apologized to the councilmen for what they went through. that is how you heal this. apologize for what the department did. but the complainers seem to want the victims to apologize for the lawsuit. what? unbelievable. blame the victims. these complainers also seem to know how to run a fire department better than our chief there, know how to better deploy and transport. if they get into power they will micromanage the departments to death. then we will see a whole lot of people leave.
