Dodero, will you hear things on the 5th Floor of city hall to share with your friend?  You do know that your friend is no friend of Mayor Mensinger and calls him the "rookie mayor," and that he has likened Mayor Pro Tem Righeimer to various dictators and constantly insults him on his childish, third grade level, blog. 

Will you be helping the haters get signatures for their stupid anti-improvement initiative?   Are they your friends, also?

And, do you have any new ideas to try to keep residents from keeping their local parks free of crime and dangerous activities so they can actually use the parks as intended?

Costa Mesa Announces new Public Information Officer

Posted Date: 8/10/2015

Costa Mesa leaders announced that veteran journalist and public relations professional Tony Dodero will be the new Public Information Officer effective Tuesday, August 11.  Dodero will be responsible for managing the city’s media relations efforts and expanding the public’s awareness of special events, programs, services, policies and projects.

In addition to his nearly two decades as an editor and reporter, Dodero also has an extensive background in print, digital and social media as well as public affairs and internal communications,” said Costa Mesa CEO Tom Hatch. “We are looking forward to him joining our already strong management team and being a top contributor.”

Dodero spent several years with the Los Angeles Times Community News Division and for eight years was the editor of the Daily Pilot, the hometown newspaper for Costa Mesa. In addition he spent three years as a member of the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors and he taught journalism at Orange Coast College for 10 years. 

I have much admiration for the people and leaders who work so hard to make the city of Costa Mesa a great place to live, work and play,” Dodero said. “I consider it an honor and joy to be back in this town where I have so many friendships, professional ties and great memories.”

Since leaving journalism in 2008, Dodero has held multiple roles, including the director of marketing and communications for THINK Together, California’s largest afterschool program, and as a corporate communications manager for two large vocational school companies.

In addition, he has operated his own communications business, offering consulting and writing services to private schools, public agencies, nonprofits, PR firms and large corporations. His freelance work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, The Orange County Register, Orange Coast Magazine and Behind the Badge OC.

Dodero earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Cal State University Long Beach and is a member of the Orange County Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He lives in Fullerton with his wife and three children.

If Trump went third party, it would destroy any GOP chances of winning the White House and maybe many other races as well.
