CHINA SEIZING TVS IN TIBET

Overly long article that misses the point that what is going on in Tibet is genocide.

The Han Chinese are trying to absorb the native  Tibetans, and they've been at this for years as they flood Tibet with Han Chinese and Han Chinese genes.

This same genocide by absorption is what we see going on in formerly all White nations.  The difference is that the Chinese haven't yet caught on to calling the Tibetans "racists" for wanting to remain unabsorbed.

In both cases, it becomes a matter of numbers, time and recessive vs. dominant genes.

Simply increase the number of people who aren't like the native people in a given land, and in time, even, as it is in some cases,  if the non-natives are a minority but have dominant genes, nature will take over, and the natives will  be absorbed and cease to exist as the mating pool widens to include ever more non-natives.

Bantus in New Hampshire, Maine and Salt Lake City, Utah

The same genocide by absorption is going on in the United Sates and any number of examples could be cited, but one of the most obvious is the settlement, starting in 2003, of large numbers of Somali Bantus from Africa into some of the Whitest, least like Africa, areas of the United States such as New Hampshire and Maine.

Wouldn't you think that it would be more humane to settle Somali Bantus in U.S. areas with more Blacks and with climates that are closer to Somalia?  You can hardly find places in the U.S. that are less like Africa than New Hampshire and Maine, oh, and another large contingent of Somali Bantus have been settled in Salt Lake City, Utah.  If all this weren't true, you might think it's a skit from Saturday Night Live.

'DISTINGUISHED BUDGET AWARD'--ANOTHER TOOL TO FOOL THE DIMWITS

A couple of months ago, the CM PRESS was going to write a column about all these phony awards that are given out to fool people, but we got busy with other things.

The OC REGISTER column linked to above tells the tale, at least partially.

Virtually every type of business or human activity has some sort of trade or civic organization to which people and businesses can belong.

These trade and civic organizations almost always pump out constant awards and certificates to members, and many of these awards and certificates are flimsy at  best and are just used for PR purposes.

These awards and certificates are then touted by the recipients as proof that they are somehow meritorious in whatever it is that they do.

Local governments often make a big deal about such awards that they get, and, again, they are mostly meaningless.

"Hey, Joe, this year I'll give you this award for (fill in the blank) and then next year, you can give me an award."

USC KEEPS NEIGHBORS OFF CAMPUS

USC is right on the border of South Central Los Angeles--the most crime ridden part of that city.  This is a fact that the libs often try to hide.

Now, after students have been murdered, raped, attacked and robbed, USC is reluctantly starting to face reality and is closing the campus to its "neighbors" who are overwhelmingly non-White.

Let's see where this all ends up.  Marches in protest?  Cries of racism? Candlelight walks with moist eyed liberals singing Kumbaya?  Signs reading "Can't we all get along?" Columns in newspapers by libs who will claim the problem isn't race, but, er, poverty, White privilege, bigotry, hatred of people of color?

In a way, the problems at USC are a tiny version of the problems we have in our larger society, where Whites have been so neutered by the fear of being called names that they are often unable to rationally discuss the reality of the violent crime of which they are so often the victims, and instead mouth silly and childish nothings about the wonders of cultural diversity, blah, blah, blah.

The truth of our existence as individuals is that we are not duty bound to burn even one calorie or waste one second of our time in trying to gauge the content of another person's character, any more than we are duty bound to burn a single calorie or waste one second in trying to figure out which shark might bite us and which one won't.  Why bother?  What is to be gained by entering the water with sharks at all? How are we enriched by being with sharks?  We are not. There is no return on our investment of our calories and our time.

Jim Fitzpatrick and family

CITIZEN WATCHDOG OVER AT THE SANITARY DISTRICT RESIGNS

Jim Fitzpatrick did what he was elected to do: Ask questions. Keep an eye on our money. Try to make sure we got the best deals on our services.

Now, Fitzpatrick has resigned rather than being sent to the poor house trying to defend his right to stay on the Costa Mesa Sanitary District board.

Resigning was the best decision for Fitzpatrick and his family and he should be lauded for his attempts to shine some light on the mini-government that few in the city really know anything about.

Here's the important sentence from Fitzpatrick's resignation letter:

"I make no apologies for following the courage of my convictions and fundamental beliefs that seeking a competitive trash contract bid for the first time since World War II was in the best interests of my constituents." 

Hopefully, we'll have other citizen watchdogs step up and run for the Costa Mesa Sanitary District in the next election.

Forget all the attempts to blur the essentials of this matter.  The important thing to remember is that Fitzpatrick tried to get the Sanitary District to go out for bids on the lucrative trash contract in Costa Mesa.  Don't you comparison shop when you spend lots of money?  Why shouldn't the Sanitary District do the same thing?

THE EAGLE swooped down and said to the Cockroach, “You are a despicable creature and you are hated by humans. You live everywhere, you eat anything, and you breed like crazy.

“I, on the other hand, am loved by humans. I am so noble and beautiful that many humans use me as a symbol for themselves and their nations.”

The Cockroach replied, “I don’t care what humans think of me. They are not my kind. I don’t exist for their pleasure. I am indifferent to them. You think you’re noble and above me in the big scheme of things? You’re a fool. You and your kind are dying out. You only eat certain things. You only live in certain places. You don’t breed enough. You are not a symbol worth copying. You are death walking.

“All individuals die. I will die. You will die. The difference is, Mr. Big Shot Eagle, that I will live on in the many offspring that I have brought into the world who have my DNA Code within them. When you die, you will cease to exist and your DNA Code will die with you. You might as well not have lived at all.

“However, it is not you or I as the individuals that we see every day in our normal lives that are most important, Mr. Eagle. It is, in the first instance, the Core DNA Code within that is truly important. It is the Core DNA Code that has transformed so-called non-living minerals into what we know as life. “You see, Mr. Eagle, evolution requires change, not stability. Mr. Eagle, you will go extinct — truly extinct — because you are not able to evolve to meet changing conditions because of your special adaptations. And, we Cockroaches will not go extinct either, but it will be because of our general adaptations — we cannot change to a higher form, because we are perfectly capable of meeting most changes in the environment just as we are.

“You look at me, Mr. Eagle, and wonder how I know these things about evolution and destiny, and I say to you, there is more to existence than you or I will ever understand, but I tell you that what I know, I know, and it is true and this knowledge comes from that which brought somethingness to the nothingness and which programmed that first molecule of DNA — that cornucopia of life itself — to endlessly and tirelessly bring forth and tinker with life in order to eventually fill all of existence with a life form that understands the meaning of existence and which is the master of all of existence."

"No, Mr. Eagle, as I already indicated, we cockroaches are not that life form of which I speak.  Like you, we are merely observers, and like you, we are locked into our particular fate.  You are unable to adapt, and this dooms you. We adapt too easily and with no struggle, and this dooms us.

COUNTY OF ORANGE WANTS LOCAL LIBRARIES TO SEND THEIR MONEY TO THE COUNTY

Ever go to one of the library book sales where you can buy books at good prices?  The CM PRESS goes to them all the time.

The sales and the book stores within the libraries are run by volunteers who call themselves "Friends of the library."   It's a great example of private citizen volunteerism, and these volunteers, at the many library book sales we've gone to, always seem to do a great job.

The money raised on the sale of those books goes to support the local libraries.

Now, the County of Orange wants that money to go to the County where it'll be thrown into a general fund to pay for whatever the County wants.  Screwy idea.

LONG ARTICLE IN THE OC REGISTER ABOUT WOMEN IN COMBAT

You've probably heard most of the arguments pro and con about allowing women in combat, so we won't rehash them here.  We think most of the arguments, on both sides, miss the real deeper significance of  nature's built-in differences between men and women of our species--which we have for the survival, improvement and expansion of the species.

Here's the CM PRESS argument against letting women serve in combat: In the struggle for survival of our species, men are infinitely more expendable than women, and, as such, the species can lose many more men than women, and not only survive, but also prosper.

Here's the detail supporting our above argument and conclusion

Women receive their eggs all at one time in their lives and then they produce no more.  Every month, they automatically offer up an egg for fertilization.  If the egg is fertilized, the woman is out of the egg business for about 9 months.  Thus, generally, one woman equals one child every nine months.

In addition, relatively early in her life, a woman's eggs are all gone, so she must produce children when she's young.  The eggs are also fresher when she's young. It is also the young who go into combat, so women would be going into combat during their most fertile years.

Men, on the other hand, produce sperm constantly, and keep doing so until they die.  A man can impregnate many women in a single day.

Thus, one man and many women are all that's needed to keep the species going.

In other words, men and their sperm are a dime a dozen and women and their eggs are far more precious.

With us so far?

Okay, now why would nature set things up like the above? If, as many people want us to believe, men and women are basically the same and both should serve in combat and risk dying, why has nature made men and women so different in their ability to help propagate the species?

The people who think that men and women are basically the same are wrong.

It all comes down to the way nature has designed us for the survival of our species, and also for its expansion and evolution.

The reason nature gives a woman all her eggs at one time is to keep the eggs and their DNA code stable and relatively unchanged. Once she gets her eggs, the DNA code within them is set.

But, what if the conditions on the Earth change markedly, say, it gets very hot or very cold?

Well, in that case, nature needs to be able to make changes to the DNA code so that babies will be born who are better adapted to the new conditions.  How does it do this?  Simple. It makes changes to the man's sperm. You may be aware that almost all mutations that happen in our species come from the male side of the equation. That's for a purpose. In fact, a man's sperm is changed by temperature, emotional stress, cosmic rays and many other things.

But, what if the sudden changes to the Earth are only temporary?  Nature wouldn't want humans to produce children all covered with fur if sudden cold was only going to last for several hundred years.  No problem. The woman's eggs, which, remember, remain stable, are a brake on too many rapid  changes to the DNA code.

Here's some more detail on the detail, but this isn't necessary for an understanding of our argument and conclusion

The recipe to make each of us is the DNA code that is within each cell of our body. It is composed of approximately 3.1 billion combinations of the four chemicals of DNA, usually abbreviated as A,T,C,G. 

These 3.1 billion combinations have sections called genes. In humans, there are approximately 20,000 genes. The genes largely determine who and what we are. As an aside, we might  think of the genes as being similar to a recipe for a cake and the environment as the oven.  

And, all of the above--the DNA letters and the genes--are then organized into 46 chromosomes in our species. 

When a male and female of our species mates, the new child receives half of all of the above from each parent. Thus, the new child will receive 23 chromosomes from the father and 23 from the mother, and each of the two sets of 23 chromosomes will contain approximately 1.5 billion combinations of A,T,C,G and 10,000 genes. 

So, with the above further detail, you can see that a new child who is conceived will theoretically receive
half of its code from the father and half from the mother and this will allow some changes to enter the picture, but not too many.

WHAT WOULD THE CM PRESS DO?

At their regularly scheduled City Council meeting on January 15, the Council is expected to approve spending $ 226,076.00 to repair alleys in the Fillmore-Coolidge slum. LINK

If the CM PRESS were on the City Council, we would take that money and use it as part of the purchase money to buy one of the slum buildings in that slum, tear it down, and put in much needed parking or a pocket park.

Why would we take this action?

Fixing the alleys, which are still in usable condition, is a waste of our tax money.

That's because the problem with the Fillmore-Coolidge slum is not the alleys.

The problem is that the buildings are functionally obsolete.  They are cheaply built, slab-sided barracks style buildings that can never attract upwardly mobile people.

They are a habitat for gangs and illegal aliens.  The street in front of these buildings is constantly full of trash as the people who live in the buildings just don't care.  It's a tiny bit of the Third World right in the middle of Mesa North and is a cancer on our neighborhood.  It's time to start removing buildings to cut down on the density, improve the parking problems, and head off more crime.

Oh, by the way, there have been several shootings in this slum.  We know of at least one murder in one of the alleys that the City wants to "fix."

You can't lump all races/ethnicities together as "Americans" to come up with any statistics that are meaningful, and that's what the above linked really moronic column does.

The truth is that  White American death rates and STD rates are about the same as they are for our fellow Whites worldwide.

And, the Black American death rates and STD rates are about the same as they are in Black nations.

You have to know the race/ethnicity of humans when you try to come up with statistical analyses.

Genes are us.
