Demographics and crime reports give us a clue.

New Hampshire has 1,316,470 residents.  Whites make up 93% of the population. Blacks make up 1%.

In 2010, New Hampshire's violent crime rate was 167.4 per 100,000 residents.  In this same year, New Hampshire recorded 13 murders.


Washington, D.C. has 632.323 residents (less than half of the population of New Hampshire). Whites make up 38.5% of the population. Blacks make up 50.7 %.

In 2010, Washington, D.C.'s violent crime rate was 1,326.8 per 100,000 residents. In this same year, Washington, D.C. recorded 132 murders.

THE ONCE NATURAL MOUNTAIN
(Making a mole hill out of a mountain)

What was left of the mountain after the City Council
"improved it."

Once there was a city that had a natural mountain within the city limits.

Most people liked the mountain and called it a natural wonder. Many who were fit, would climb it.

Parents would take their kids to the mountain and teach them about nature and how mountains came to be.

The mountain was a refreshing break from the streets and traffic and buildings in the rest of the city.  There it sat, natural and unkempt as an example of what nature builds without the help of man.

And, there were birds and other animals living free and on their own with no help from man on the mountain. And, there were wind sown plants in abundance that had adapted to make a living on the rocky sides of the mountain, without gardeners to tend them, and without sprinklers to water them. They had no help from man at all.  Not only did they live under the natural conditions found on the mountain--they flourished.  This was nature at work.

Then, one day, some people who couldn't climb the mountain said it wasn't fair that they couldn't also climb the mountain.

So, the City Council put in some elevators, escalators and stairs along with wide trails all over the mountain, so these people could climb the mountain.

But, that still wasn't good enough for some people, so the City Council dynamited and flattened the mountain down to its base.

Now, everyone could climb the mountain.  Of course, it was no longer really a mountain at all.  Most of the birds and other animals are now gone also, and the natural plants have been replaced by the City Council with ones that require City staff to water, fertilize and take care of every day, or they would die.  You see, they are not adapted to the mountain--even in its much reduced size.

Which leads us to a discussion of our natural Fairview Park...never mind.  You get the picture.

The hot item on the agenda is a request for a rehearing of the Fairview Park entryway concept plans.

Although the haters of the good Council members expect this effort to rehear this item will fail, we have a feeling that the vote will go in favor of a rehearing.  Yes, we're just guessing, but it makes sense to us for a number of different reasons, that I won't go into here, to let this be reheard.

Time for a course correction.

WHAT DOES AN "IMPROVED COSTA MESA" MEAN TO THE CM PRESS?

The CM PRESS doesn't have loyalty to those in politics.  We have loyalty to positions.

If those in politics take the positions that we believe are good for Costa Mesa we support those positions.

However, if they take positions that we do not believe are good for Costa Mesa, we won't support those positions.  We try to keep an arms length away from politicians so we don't owe them support when they stray.

So what would an improved Costa Mesa look like to the CM PRESS?

West 19th Street would be an upscale cafe society street much like East 17th Street that would attract people for the nightlife and boutique shops, not only from Costa Mesa but also from Newport Beach.

The area around the Triangle would become a true downtown for the City.

Functionally obsolete tri-plexes lined up like military barracks would be removed and would be replaced by single family homes to attract upwardly mobile people to the city.

There would be fewer charities that are helping turn parts of the City into a skidrow, all in the name of "compassion;" a word that is mostly just a shield for some of the bosses of the charities to have good job security, great salaries and  super benefits, and for others who need to express their pathological altruistic urges, and who like to slum in the downscale areas of the City (oh, the humanity of it).

What we do not want to see:

A bloated and intrusive municipal government that takes a heavy handed approach to governance.

Too much development.

What we are seeing now:

We think the City Council and staff are going too far towards increasing the size of government and  are engaging in too much heavy handedness, and are approving some developments that should be denied or cut back in size and variances.

In governing, you can't just set a direction and  not make course corrections.

We believe some course corrections are now in order.

There is no compelling interest in putting in a turnaround, so don't do it.

HERE's the Facebook page of Fairview Park Friends who want to give the park the Irvine treatment with a well manicured and plastic looking turnaround that will have to be put on life support and be maintained by City staff, lest the actual jumble of  nature take over. Has the term "anal retentive" been so overused and dated that we can't use it here to describe what is, ah, anal retentive?

HERE's the Facebook page of the Friends of Fairview Nature Park (not the same friends as above) who want to keep the park in a more natural state. You know, a place where nature, as it really is, exists and where people can actually see the processes of nature working themselves out through adaptive evolution and natural selection and the competition that exists throughout nature for survival.

Yes, dear friends, a natural park where living organisms either adapt or get replaced by other organisms with survival advantages that make them more suited for the environment as it is now.  Sort of like political campaigns.

 In other words, a place where the politics of nature like the politics of man reward those that know how to win life's struggles and who instinctively realize that the battle for survival and for a seat at the best table is not always won on  brute force and running right at the opposition, or for fighting for things that aren't worth doing, but on doing what is smart.

Here's a short version of Aesop's fable The Oak and The Reeds which most readers will already know, but which somehow seems germane to the issue at hand and which might serve as a cautionary tale.

The above is a real world example of how these anti-White attacks often occur.  There is some ruse such as asking for directions, or for a match, or for the time, during which the attackers are sizing up the prey and at the same time getting close enough to attack.

It's been a long time coming.  Higgs predicted the existence of what has become known as the Higgs boson many years ago--on paper--but finding it had to wait for the LHC to be built and fired up.

As we wrote some time ago, it has been something of a race to see if the now elderly Higgs would live long enough to see if the Higgs boson would be found before he died, and we predicted he'd win the Nobel Prize in physics if it was found in time.  It was.

Now, the major goal in physics is to find and understand dark matter.  On paper it exists.  But where is it, what is it, and what is its exact nature?   More Nobel Prizes are waiting for answers.

USC, OCCIDENTAL UNDERREPORTED SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Here's what is missing from the above LA TIMES article:  The race of the attackers and the race of the victims.  Our guess is that most of the attackers were non-White and few of the victims were Black.

So, why would two colleges underreport sexual assaults?  Two reasons.  The first is because they want students and parents to think the areas where the colleges are located are safe so there won't be White flight away from them to safer schools.  Second, they suffer from PCitis and don't want to report  Black on White crime.

Violent crime is not aracial.  People commit violent crimes.  Full descriptions of the violent criminals and their victims should be given in every crime story so the public can be aware of dangerous situations and locations.

FIGHT RESULTS:  KLITSCHKO OVER POVETKIN

As we predicted in CM PRESS #348 on September 15, it was Wladimir Klitschko over Alexander Povetkin on points in their October 5, fight.

Povetkin just couldn't overcome Klitschko's 6" reach advantage (Klitschko 81" reach; Povetkin 75" reach).

Had this been an MMA fight, which is like a street fight, instead of a boxing match, we think Povetkin would have won.

AL SHARPTON'S ADVERTISERS TARGETED BY NEW GROUP

It'll be interesting to see if MSNBC keeps this anti-White bigot on TV or whether the Black immunity card will give the advertisers and the network cover to keep him on.

You just know the advertisers and the network will be analyzing things along these lines:  How big is Sharpton's Black audience?  How big is his White audience?  Will taking him off the air make Blacks angry?
Will they stop buying the products advertised on his show?  Will that matter to the bottom line? Will Whites join in the boycott of his show or will they just be apathetic?

And, you also just know that if the numbers start showing the boycott is working, that the advertisers and the network will find some White patsies to say that they want Sharpton to stay on the air because they want to hear all sides of issues, etc.
