This is a list that we got via a public records act request back in 2011, so the numbers are no doubt different now, but we suspect the percentages are probably still pretty close.

From the five-digit zip codes of where all city employees live.

49 employees take your money to Huntington Beach.
43 employees take your money to Santa Ana.
39 employees take your money to Irvine.
32 employees take your money to Mission Viejo.
29 employees take your money to Corona.
29 employees take your money to Laguna Beach.
25 employees take your money to Orange.
22 employees take your money to Rancho Margarita.
22 employees take your money to Anaheim.
15 employees take your money to Tustin.
13 employees take your money to Westminster.
11 employees take your money to Lake Forest.
10 employees take your money to Newport Beach.
10 employees take your money to Coto de Caza.

We've just shown the double digit money drain above (i.e. zip codes where 10 or more employees live in that zip code).  There are many other individual employees who go back to Pomona, Carlsbad, Oceanside, San Marcos, Lake Elsinore, Idyllwild, Moreno Valley, etc.

Of the 575 employee zip codes we have, 472 of them are not in Costa Mesa.

The list shows that 82% of Costa Mesa's employees do not live in Costa Mesa.

Well, you won't find all of the above headline explicitly stated in the linked article or in the accompanying video, but that's what's deeper down in this guy's various discussions before some so-called "conservative" groups that often have an over abundance of half-dead and/or barren old White people eagerly looking for a  Black person (who acts White) to give them cover (and some spine) against the usual lefty charges of racism.

What's pathetic about this is that these weak seed Whites--these hollow husks--these low self-and low group esteem, effete souls are afraid to stand up for themselves as the people who they were born to be--a distinct people with a distinct and unique genetic identity--and who are so weak and timid that they feel that they need the cover of a Black to give them permission, as though they are little children, to speak the things that they may think, but which they fear will bring cries of racism, etc. They are afraid to be authentically White and try to dissolve themselves into PC aracialness.

Such weak seeds will sometimes talk in terms of self-determination; but often in vague and ephemeral terms, while at the same time they can't even find the intelligence or strength within themselves to practice authentic self-determination in their everyday lives--largely because they don't even know how to engender the prerequisite to self-determination:  self-identification.  Without the latter, an authentic self-determination is not possible.

councilmembers?

CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS ARE NOT POTTED PLANTS

At least three of the five aren't.

When we hear some of the haters with their little girly whining tantrums complaining about the three members of the City Council who are doing their jobs and being active to improve Costa Mesa and trying to be good stewards over this city, we hear neurotic crackpots, dopes, and some malcontents along with some easily manipulated low IQ types who don't even know why they're whining and complaining but who are just following the crowd so they can feel like insiders.

For years we've had many passive Councilmembers who did nothing but show up for meetings and collect their checks and who went along to get along.  In that environment, some employees were pretty much able to do whatever they wanted to do.  Now, we have some Councilmembers who are running the city like a business.

And, the way it works in business is that bosses who want the business to succeed, are hands on and take an interest in actually managing the enterprise.  To do that they investigate what employees are doing on the job.  They make suggestions on how to do things better.  They decide on priorities.  And, they do all the other things to guide the ship of state--that, in our case, is our city--away from the shoals and into safe waters.

Here's hoping the good Councilmembers keep it up.

LOCAL BLOGGER WRITES STUPID COLUMN AND LEFTY DAILY PILOT PUBLISHES IT

If you have the stomach (sorry) for it, try to wade through the constipated and childish boring propaganda column of the odd character you see on your left.

And, then, if you haven't lost your lunch, read the letter he has published from "one of Costa Mesa's finest" HERE.

This blogger is so confused and so lacking in discernment that he apparently actually thinks the letter from the cop is a great slam against the good Councilmembers when actually it speaks more to a lack of professionalism (at the very  least), over emotionalism (also at the very least) and maybe a rotten to the core state within the CMPD that even our relatively new police chief can't fix.

And, when an institution is rotten to the core and can't be fixed, you sometimes need to dissolve it and start over from top to bottom.

Intelligent readers, after reading the blogger's column and the letter from the cop, may wonder why the City isn't doing more to make sure we get a professional police force with apolitical police officers who are just focused on their mission.  And, such readers may also be thinking that it's time to start talking to the Sheriff about patrolling Costa Mesa.

Notice that many of the cops who have left the CMPD gave their reason for leaving as "political environment."  We don't find that answer very satisfying and it doesn't sound like such a pat answer is something that individual officers would just come up with all on their own.  [We acknowledge that the preparer of the report may have just summarized comments for brevity, but we'd like to see more specific comments from the cops if they exist.]

Notwithstanding what we just wrote in the brackets in the preceding paragraph, we suspect there are some really rotten apples in the department who are  poisoning the well with bad mouthing sound bites such as "What a bad political environment we have here." And, it appears that this may have become a meme--an easy, unthinking and unsupported something to say by a cop who is leaving. "Yeah, I'm leaving because of the, er, bad political environment. Yeah, that's it."  We do wonder if anyone bothered to dig deeper and ask these cops to explain further and exactly how it was that they formed the opinion of there being a bad political environment, and exactly how the alleged bad political environment specifically affected them or their jobs.

It just takes one rotten
apple to spoil the bushel

Honestly, put yourself in the shoes of a cop.  You may not live here in Costa Mesa (more than 75% don't live here).  You get up in the morning, and you drive to Costa Mesa.  You then do whatever it is you're assigned to do--let's say you go out on patrol.  Then at the end of your shift you drive back to your own home in some other city.  Now, where during that day did you get even a whiff of some sort of political environment that you don't like?  You just did your job as a professional.  You must have picked up the negative attitude from others in the department.  Who was that?  That's what the chief should be trying to find out.  WHO is badmouthing from inside the department and chasing off cops and causing them to write letters such as the one published by that blogger seen up above?

DAILY PILOT GETTING MORE LIBERAL? NOT REALLY REPRESENTATIVE OF COSTA MESA?

Here's the second version of this column that we've sent to the Daily Pilot.  In this version, we even took out the word "White" in the headline and put in "European-American," to see if the Pilot would run it.  The Pilot hasn't run either version and hasn't even acknowledged its receipt. 

It seems the Pilot would rather run poorly written crap from the local lefties that just repeat the same pedestrian anti-Costa Mesa City Council majority crap than something that might actually present somethng new to think about.

EUROPEAN-AMERICANS NEED A CAUCUS IN THE CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE

It was recently announced that State Senator Marty Block, (D-San Diego), started the Legislative Jewish Caucus and that this caucus will also form a political action committee to raise money for Israel-friendly candidates. Block told the press that the Legislative Jewish Caucus "isn't a religious based organization.  We see this as an ethnic organization."  This statement was presumably made to both forestall Muslims from starting a Muslim Legislative Caucus and also to head off complaints that the Legislative Jewish Caucus is breaching the wall between religion and state.

At any rate, the Legislative Jewish Caucus, as an ethnic/racial organization, now joins the  Asian Pacific Islander Caucus, the Legislative Black Caucus and the Latino Legislative Caucus.

These caucuses work, sometimes behind the scenes and out of public view, to represent the interests of their ethnic/racial  groups.  They write legislation and take other actions on behalf of their particular ethnic/racial groups even though the people they are acting on behalf of may not live in their districts. In other words, unlike the traditional American political notion that people elected to public office represent a specific geographic area, these ethnic caucus members represent "their people," no matter where they live in the state.

An example of what the members of these ethnic/racial caucuses do was presented in the Daily Pilot recently in a story about State Assemblyman Roger Hernandez, a member of the Latino Legislative Caucus, who has authored a bill that would force cities such as Costa Mesa to end city wide voting and replace it with district voting.  District voting is a scheme that will lead to gerrymandered districts in Costa Mesa, in an attempt to include Latino voters in certain districts and exclude White voters from the districts.

On the welcome page of the Asian Pacific Islander Caucus we read this:  "[T]he Caucus was founded in 2001 and serves to represent and advocate for the interests of the APIA community...."

On the Website of the Latino Legislative Caucus we read: "The Mission of the California Latino Legislative Caucus is to identify, promote and advocate on behalf of the professional, educational, social, political and cultural interests of the Latino Community."

And, on the Website of the Legislative Black Caucus we read: "The continuing mission of the CLBC is to provide our unwavering commitment and support to our goal of achieving full inclusion of our state’s Africans American residents in every aspect of California life – from education and employment to housing and health to commerce and government services."

So, there you have it.  Four ethnic/racial organizations all advocating for the interests of their people.  Who advocates for White people?  No one.

Now, some who haven't kept up with the news may say that a White Legislative Caucus isn't needed because Whites are in the majority in the state.  Actually, we're not.  Latinos have ether reached numbers parity or have exceeded the size of the White population.  Some others may argue that Whites are not an ethnicity, but a race, and that we shouldn't lump the various White ethnicities (or people who originated in many different European nations) together under one rubric such as White.  Well, the Asian Pacific Islander Caucus lumps various Asian and Pacific Islander populations together, and the Legislative Black Caucus is based on race.  

I'll ask and answer this question once again:  Who represents Whites and White interests?  No one.

It's time to change that.  Will we now see some White legislators start a White Legislative Caucus?  Probably not.  Why?  Because Whites have been so brow beaten about race that it seems many are even afraid to order a gallon of white paint at the hardware store lest they be called racist.  The result of this racial intimidation that Whites have undergone for years is that Whites are left without any real representation for their particular interests (and we have many) in the state legislature.

MAN WHO ALLEGEDLY SOLD WEED ARRESTED

There were two things about this story--and the CM PRESS got the same press release from the CMPD that is the basis of the DP article--that the CMPD did not provide with their press release:

1.  There's no booking photo/mug shot of the suspect with the CMPD press release.

2.  The suspect self-identified as a gang member, but the gang wasn't named in the CMPD press release.

The CM PRESS has now requested the two missing items both from the CMPD and City Hall, and we asked why the CMPD sometimes releases booking photos/mug shots and sometimes doesn't.

Some of the usual know nothings seem to want to blame City CEO Tom Hatch.  We disagree.  We think the blame lies slightly lower on the totem pole.  If Hatch is to blame for anything, it may be for hiring incompetents, and for not firing them when their incompetence is demonstrated.  How many strikes does it take before someone is shown the door?

We've seen other examples of incompetence that have not been explained, in addition to the 60th Party.  The most notable example was in not  naming who was making sure the former City Clerk got the charter paperwork in on time.  Is that person the same one who let the 60th Party expenses go crazy?

NB:  Note our distinctions in the last paragraph above that redefine the present hate crime  laws that are mostly directly aimed at Whites and which are used to prosecute Whites for non-violent thought acts and minor crimes of expression.

DAYTON, OHIO POLICE CHIEF CALLS FOR A HATE CRIME INVESTIGATION OF ATTACK ON WHITE BUS DRIVER BY BLACKS

The MSM have tried to cover up this attack, but because of the call for a hate crime investigation they have been forced to reveal that the attackers are Black and the victim White.

Maybe, we're starting to see Whites starting to get a little equal treatment relating to all the hate crimes perpetrated against them.

Whites will get more justice when they stop apologizing for being White and start speaking out about anti-White hate crimes that are often masked in the press by other crimes that the perps commit at the same time, such as rape and robbery.  Remember, there can be more than one motive for crimes and there can be more than one crime committed at a time.

WHY 'ISRAELI' IS NOT A NATIONALITY

Summary of above linked oped appearing in JTA: The author, knowingly or unknowingly, essentially makes the same argument that White Nationalists make, i.e. that your true nation is within you and is not dependent on geography--especially in the modern world--but ultimately depends on your genes (although this is fudged somewhat in the above column) and it is your genes (genotype) that make you part of a distinct people--a nation--no matter where you or those genetically like you live.

[Note:  Why the CM PRESS often writes about issues such as the above involving Israel: It's because Israel and the Jews often offer clear cut (but also muddled at the same time) examples of issues of "identity" that many conscious non-Jewish Whites also ponder.  

And, because Israel is a new nation formed originally as a "Jewish nation," issues of identity involving geography, religion and genes pop up constantly as that nation struggles to define who is a Jew and who is a citizen of Israel.  

Among non-Jews, things are a little more simple. Take religion, for example. A non-Jew may be a Catholic or an atheist but not both at the same time. The terms are mutually exclusive. 

Among Jews, on the other hand, one can be a Jew and an atheist or one can even be a Buddhist or have some other religion and still be Jewish. 

So, does this mean being Jewish is a racial category?  Most Jews will tell you it isn't, but traditional Jewish law says that to be a Jew one must be born of a Jewish mother--so, one must have Jewish genes--and don't genes speak to race and ethnicity? You can see how convoluted this can get, and the various efforts to define Jewish and Israeli identity have implications for all distinct peoples and for the survival of distinct peoples as distinct peoples.]

VOTE FOR A CHARTER AND COSTA MESA CAN AVOID GERRYMANDERING AND KEEP OUR PRESENT AT-LARGE ELECTION SYSTEM

The screwball and heavy handed bill [HERE] working its way through the state legislature authored by State Assemblyman  Roger Hernandez--a member of the racial/ethnic  Latino Legislative Caucus [HERE] has a hidden racist/ethnic goal:  It will force general law cities to use a district election system and not the present at-large system we currently use in Costa Mesa.

The law will not force charter cities to use a district system because charter cities are ones in which the citizens of the cities make many of the decisions on local matters instead of being forced to do what legislators in far away Sacramento demand.

A district system will lead to gerrymandering in which we will more than likely see strangely shaped districts in Costa Mesa that won't really serve our natural neighborhoods or citizens based on geography.

With gerrymandering, we may see councilmembers elected for districts that are drawn on racial/ethnic lines, not on geographic ones.

So, we may see a district in Costa Mesa that even looks something like the one in the cartoon above, as social engineers draw a district that starts in the Fillmore-Coolidge slum, goes over to the Mission-Mendoza slum, ropes in the Baker Street slum, runs down Harbor Blvd. to rope in some slums on Wilson and Pomona and then runs down Placentia to rope in the Shalimar slum. This scheme will help non-White  racists in drawing districts along  racial/ethnic lines and will make absolutely no sense for truly representing natural neighborhoods.

And, this scheme will tend to increase ethnic ghettos in Costa Mesa as home buyers who are not of the favored racial/ethnic type in a district will probably not want to buy homes in such districts where they are not wanted and where they have no voice or representation on the City Council.

I GET MENTIONED AGAIN IN A LEFTY BLOG

I see that this character has once again tried to smear me in his blog.

As I've written before, I've told this guy not to talk to me.  I don't even want him to say hello to me.


He used to waddle up to me and squeal some stupid crap as though he wanted to be my friend, and while I try to be polite to everyone, I had a hard time being polite to this guy and did finally have to tell him to buzz off.



If you take a look at this guy's blog, you'll see that he is a remarkably unoriginal thinker and isn't even very good in his attempts to propagandize against the good Councilmembers--unoriginal and insipid.

This guy also threw around the word racist a couple of times.

EUROPEAN-AMERICANS NEED A CAUCUS IN THE CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE

It was recently announced that State Senator Marty Block, (D-San Diego), started the Legislative Jewish Caucus and that this caucus will also form a political action committee to raise money for Israel-friendly candidates. Block told the press that the Legislative Jewish Caucus "isn't a religious based organization.  We see this as an ethnic organization."  This statement was presumably made to both forestall Muslims from starting a Muslim Legislative Caucus and also to head off complaints that the Legislative Jewish Caucus is breaching the wall between religion and state.

At any rate, the Legislative Jewish Caucus, as an ethnic/racial organization, now joins the  Asian Pacific Islander Caucus, the Legislative Black Caucus and the Latino Legislative Caucus.

These caucuses work, sometimes behind the scenes and out of public view, to represent the interests of their ethnic/racial  groups.  They write legislation and take other actions on behalf of their particular ethnic/racial groups even though the people they are acting on behalf of may not live in their districts. In other words, unlike the traditional American political notion that people elected to public office represent a specific geographic area, these ethnic caucus members represent "their people," no matter where they live in the state.

An example of what the members of these ethnic/racial caucuses do was presented in the Daily Pilot recently in a story about State Assemblyman Roger Hernandez, a member of the Latino Legislative Caucus, who has authored a bill that would force cities such as Costa Mesa to end city wide voting and replace it with district voting.  District voting is a scheme that will lead to gerrymandered districts in Costa Mesa, in an attempt to include Latino voters in certain districts and exclude White voters from the districts.

On the welcome page of the Asian Pacific Islander Caucus we read this:  "[T]he Caucus was founded in 2001 and serves to represent and advocate for the interests of the APIA community...."

On the Website of the Latino Legislative Caucus we read: "The Mission of the California Latino Legislative Caucus is to identify, promote and advocate on behalf of the professional, educational, social, political and cultural interests of the Latino Community."

And, on the Website of the Legislative Black Caucus we read: "The continuing mission of the CLBC is to provide our unwavering commitment and support to our goal of achieving full inclusion of our state’s Africans American residents in every aspect of California life – from education and employment to housing and health to commerce and government services."

So, there you have it.  Four ethnic/racial organizations all advocating for the interests of their people.  Who advocates for White people?  No one.

Now, some who haven't kept up with the news may say that a White Legislative Caucus isn't needed because Whites are in the majority in the state.  Actually, we're not.  Latinos have ether reached numbers parity or have exceeded the size of the White population.  Some others may argue that Whites are not an ethnicity, but a race, and that we shouldn't lump the various White ethnicities (or people who originated in many different European nations) together under one rubric such as White.  Well, the Asian Pacific Islander Caucus lumps various Asian and Pacific Islander populations together, and the Legislative Black Caucus is based on race.  

I'll ask and answer this question once again:  Who represents Whites and White interests?  No one.

It's time to change that.  Will we now see some White legislators start a White Legislative Caucus?  Probably not.  Why?  Because Whites have been so brow beaten about race that it seems many are even afraid to order a gallon of white paint at the hardware store lest they be called racist.  The result of this racial intimidation that Whites have undergone for years is that Whites are left without any real representation for their particular interests (and we have many) in the state legislature.

COSTA MESA:  CITY TO REMOVE GRASS AND REPLACE WITH NATIVE PLANTS IN SOME LOCATIONS

The above linked article is a toss-away small piece in the Daily Pilot, but we wanted to put it here, because we think it's important.  The CM PRESS has long argued that it is wiser to be in tune with the environment than to fight it.  Specifically, we have constantly called for replacing grass--which needs life support to live here with our dry conditions--with plants that naturally live and thrive here with no special care from humans.

We also argued the above about what is going on in Fairview Park, but to no avail.  Instead of letting wind sown natural plants grow there, the City has been hell bent on removing them and replacing them with plants that require constant care from expensive City employees.  And, the City has justified this by saying that the plants being put in are native plants.  They are?  Then why aren't they naturally living there right now?  I'll answer those two questions this way:  Evolution never stops.  What was once native is no longer native.  Plants better able to survive in conditions we now have here just grow without any care, while plants that haven't adapted die off.

At a City Council meeting a few years ago, when all the changes were being proposed for Fairview Park and Councilmembers then on the Council were chirping about putting in "native  plants" as though these Councilmembers actually knew something about nature and nature's ways, we asked the Council exactly when those "native plants" were living in the park.  Was it a hundred years ago?  A thousand?  Ten thousand? A million?  Native at one time is not native at another time. The Council simply picked some arbitrary time and said that was when native plants were here. That time seems to have been about a hundred years ago.
