LIKE A STAGE PLAY IT WAS

There were lots of new people at Thursday's meeting on homelessness at City Hall.

That's because they were the local equivalent of a rent-a-mob, organized to be there to demand that the citizens of Costa Mesa open their wallets and put in homeless housing--which is not in the best interests of the stable home owning citizens of this city.

The mob was not there spontaneously. Some had that glassy, moist eyed Jesus Freak look about them and some sounded as though they were talking before a church meeting of fellow true believers.

Many of them were the same churchy, latter day hippies and  lefties who showed up, also on command, to stage a noisy protest for freebie homeless housing before the last City Council meeting.

Folks, we'll say it again:  This whole mess started because citizens were tired of stepping over homeless people in Lions Park, having homeless people approach their children, and finding lice on seats in the public library adjacent to Lions Park.

Then, the Homeless Task Force was formed.

The Homeless Task Force was managed and manipulated to change the original call to help stable citizens reclaim their city from the homeless people, the vagrants, the bums, the criminals, the druggies and the insane to this present nonsense of providing even more magnets for these people who have flocked here for the freebies and whose numbers are increasing in proportion to the number of freebies they can get.

We'll also say this again:  Costa Mesa does not have a homeless problem.  We have a cult like pathological altruist problem.

We also have moist eyed cultic oriented neurotics whose quasi-religious feel good beliefs and values tell them they are here on Earth only to help others who are down and out and  who are trying to force those, and other beliefs and values on stable citizens of Costa Mesa who do not share their beliefs and values--at least not to the over the top extent of these true believers.

As is often the case, the neuroses of some of these people are masked behind do-goodism. They get their jollies by being seen as new Mother Teresas.

And, some of these true believers seem as though they want to make up for not only missing the plane to Guyana but also for missing the trip on Hale-Bopp.
