HERE'S THE AGENDA FOR TOMORROW NIGHT'S HOMELESS HOUSING MEETING

The meeting is scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in City Council Chambers.  in the Emergency Operations Center in the police department next door to city hall.

The BIG question is why are we even doing this? Newport Beach isn't doing it.  Huntington Beach isn't doing it.

Do we want to be like Santa Ana and Stanton?

Will your neighborhood be the "lucky" one to have this free and low income housing put there?

If this is shoved into one of our parks, will that park be in Mesa Verde or the Eastside, or will the Westside be forced to accept this?

Who is really driving this in City government?

Who makes money off of it?

Does anyone really think this is going to end homelessness in Costa Mesa?

Will those behind this, push to have this housing put in their own neighborhood, near their kids, near their schools, in one of their parks?

Because the citizens who live near Civic Center Park had time to organize and fight this from being put in their park, is the City now going to try to Blitzkrieg this through before more citizens can object?

A NEW ARTICLE ON THE NEW SCOUT GROUP THAT WAS STARTED AFTER THE REGULAR BOY SCOUTS WENT GAY

The planet has become so PC that every group that makes noise can usually force their beliefs and values on others who do not agree with those beliefs and values.  This  new scout group is standing up for the traditional values of the Boy Scouts, which the Boy Scouts have abandoned.

There is no reason why anyone should have the beliefs and values of others shoved down their throats.  And, that goes for the situation right here in Costa Mesa where pathological altruists are trying to shove their beliefs and values down the throats of all Costa Mesans via actions they want the municipal government to take.

Must watch video (9:15 min) in which Dr. Michael Scheuer skewers some stupid Israel Firster Congressmen who keep blathering the Bush crap about how Muslims hate us because of our freedom.

If you want to understand the world, you have to be honest and look for real reasons behind things, and not give in to goofy and false reasons because they sound nice.

Remember the War on Poverty?  It failed.  It was goofy.  It didn't comport with reality.
Head Start?  It failed. It was Goofy. It didn't comport with reality.
Costa Mesa's attempt to end homelessness?  It'll fail.  It's goofy.  It doesn't comport with reality.
