It has to stop asap. To date, 158 companies have left the state of California since Jan. 2010 (less than a year), and this is one of the reasons why. All of these employees are well aware of the gravy train that they are living off of and will stop at nothing to make sure that nothing changes for them. The really sad part is that these same people are totally aware of the effect that this is having on the economy, and they could care less. Somehow they feel that are still entitled, even at everyone else's expense.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1775587643142550810.post-66931800982846377132010-10-24T11:46:40.817-07:002010-10-24T11:46:40.817-07:00The thing that jumps out at me is the sheer number...The thing that jumps out at me is the sheer number of employees. There should be NO further negotiations with any city employee union group until AFTER the new city council members are seated.

Let the layoffs begin! Costa Mesa needs to replace all those over paid, inefficient, employees (with their entitlement mentalities). Why are they entitled to a nickel more than any other profession, or employees in the private sector?Vickinoreply@blogger.com
