RAMZPAUL points out the truth that the reason this isn't a major story with the FBI and the Justice Department involved is because the victims were White girls and the attackers Black males.
Had the victims been Black girls and the attackers White males, every liberal news source in the country would have this on their front pages for weeks and the FBI and the Justice Department would be all over this.

Apodaca says she's a racist but is trying to recover. Of course, and as usual with these types, she gives no definition of what she means by "racist," other than some slight comments about how she noted that when she moved to Newport Beach and put her kid in school she noticed how White the class was.
She then gives us the usual cliche about racists not being born that way and that we must teach our children to not be racists. Ho hum, yawn. The argument sort of reminds me of the argument that gays aren't born that way and we have to teach them to not be gay. Of course, now that this view of gays is no longer accepted in polite society [HERE] and its counter view that gays are born that way seems to be acceptable we're not hearing about converting gays to being straight very much these days.
And, racists? Are they born that way? Well, scientific evidence is building that at least in some people so-called racism is determined by genes. And, the reality is that so-called racism, whether a strong genetic link is ever found or not, is really nothing more than a survival mechanism that has those with it have a more highly developed sense of who is like them and who isn't. And, in nature, it is often those unlike you in certain ways who present the greatest danger to your survival.
Now to definitions: I define racism as seeing racial differences as real. Apodaca, on the other hand seems, as already noted, to have vague ideas of what the term means, but whatever racism is, in Apodaca's mind at least, it must be bad and must be something to overcome. She's wrong.
