DISGUSTINGLY SACCHARINE NEW AGE BABBLE IN THE DAILY PILOT ABOUT HOMELESS HOUSING

Aw, geez, here we go, this churchly woman named Becks Heyhoe has a long and goofy column in the Daily Pilot in which she uses up most of her ink in giving us a long and boring metaphor about how she overcame her fear of heights by climbing a hill and golly, gush, gush, we can overcome our fears of homeless housing by being just like her.

Good grief!  What a load of crap.

This is one of the largest loads of hippy dippy, moon beam balderdash that we've seen in the Pilot in some time.

Folks, Costa Mesa does not have a homeless problem.  

We have a problem with pathological altruists,do-gooders and money making charity bosses who don't mind screwing up our city by erecting even more magnets (in your neighborhood, but not theirs) for homeless people, for the mentally insane, for criminals, for drunks and for druggies.

And, don't doubt that some of the do-gooders are also doing good for themselves as they make their livings by foisting their barely disguised new age religious beliefs and misplaced compassion on the rest of us as they try to force their ideas and their values down our throats.

Hey Heyhoe, go practice your religiously based missionary work in the third world and stop trying to make Costa Mesa the third world.  Or, if you can't do that, then how about putting in homeless housing in Mesa Verde?  If you want to do this latter, let us know and we'll help you publicize your efforts to build such housing in one of the parks in Mesa Verde.

In a more general sense this proves that at least one acquired characteristic has been definitely shown to be capable of changing the code in sperm and can then be passed on to offspring.

Lamarckism gets another boost.  And, this is further evidence that we just don't know everything about evolution and all of its possible mechanisms.
