The CM PRESS went to the podium and talked about improving the Westside.
Then, after we had spoken, an old liberal woman went to the podium and took a swipe at us by saying that the Westside was fine just the way it is.
Next up were some people who complained about having to walk over homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks...on the Westside.
So, we guess if you have homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks, and you have slums, and you have gangs, and you have street crime, and you have a free soup kitchen as the best known "restaurant" on your main street on the Westside, and you have failing schools, and you have illegal aliens all over the place, and you have charities helping keep the area as it is, then everything is fine.
That's a funny definition of "fine."
