GREAT COLUMN IN THE DAILY PILOT NAILS THE HUMMINGBIRD--AKA SADLY GENIS
If Sadly had her way we'd probably all be living in grass huts.
She's one of those characters who can't seem to understand that we're all living in a river of time and a city must row in the direction we want to go or we'll get dashed on the rocks like Santa Ana.
And, she's one of those people who seem to think that "developers" are evil.
Well, Sadly, tell us, who the hell do you think built the home you're living in over in that housing development that took up empty land that is known as Mesa Verde? Do you think it was built by your latter day misguided hippy pals who want to super-size Costa Mesa's municipal government again?
And about that photo above. Notice how Sadly has her fingers locked together. Had this not been the case she probably would have been flapping her arms like crazy.
Have you ever seen her at the podium at City Council meetings? She flits down the aisle like a hummingbird after sugar water, then speaks in a weird way: It's all " bzzzzz, ah, bzzzzzzzzz, bzzzzzz, thank you." Then she flits back up the aisle to her seat. Something very odd about her performances.
If you want to know the truth about Sadly and her two amigos who want to stop improvement in Costa Mesa, just wait until you see who funds their campaigns.
And, trust us, we'll put the information right up here as soon as we get it so you'll see the big out of town employee cabal giving Sadly and her pals thousands of dollars to they can super-size local government again and hire hundreds of redundant out of town employees.
