JWA TO OFFER FLIGHTS TO MEXICO

Being puffed as a wonderful thing.  If you live in Costa Mesa it's not.

The CM PRESS has written extensively about the ever expanding JWA and how, if you'll take the time to notice, all the low rise buildings around the airport are on the Costa Mesa side of the facility.  Get it?

  1. Martin,

I read your blog regularly but am not clear on something, what is your position on Israel? Do you think they should be supported by the USA or abandoned or something else?

  2. To Bill G: My position is that the U.S. should stop foreign aid to all nations and take care of our own problems.

Our dollar diplomacy has been a failure.

  3. Thanks for pointing out the increased low-rise buildings in town. These are businesses, which add tax dollars and jobs to our community. It's about time someone recognized the positive things like this that the council majority is doing to increase revenue.

  4. To Good Work: The point I was making was that when JWA expands--it needs another runway-- the path of least resistance will be on the Costa Mesa side and will eat up those low rise buildings near Red Hill Ave.

Also, when a new runway is built, planes will still take off towards the ocean, except when there are Santa Ana winds, because planes take off into the wind. This means they may be over even more of the Eastside than they are now.
