The CM PRESS quick shot: We just took a fast glance at the proposal, but we didn't see any needed tort reform. Also, we wonder if it will cover illegal aliens.

The Obamatics say they'll pass this bill with or without the GOP on board. Actually, they may have a problem in doing this as many Dems are facing angry constituents back home and may not vote for Obamacare to try to save their seats.

At the Contract From America site you can vote on your top ten priorities. The CM PRESS just did so.

Unfortunately, many of the choices are duplicates in different words, so it looks like those behind this are just trying to get the most votes possible for calling for a safe and non-controversial economic reform of some type.

The CM PRESS would liked to have seen a choice about reindustrializing America and also some choices about illegal immigration. They weren't there. Because these and other hard choices weren't offered, the survey comes across a little like a Girl Scout Cookie sale.

We see the same slick PR hands behind this as we've seen in other stupid GOP surveys that ask questions on the level of: "Are you for Mom and Apple Pie?"

RESULTS OF FRIDAY'S DUI CHECKPOINT

The location of Friday’s checkpoint was on Baker Street at Bear Street. The goal of the DUI Checkpoint was removing impaired drivers and to bring awareness to the public of the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
